Kirtan with Edo Kahn – Fundraiser Launch for Animal Sanctuary

Kirtan with Edo Kahn – Fundraiser Launch for Animal Sanctuary

Friday 28th July we are delighted to be hosting special guests Edo Kahn, Ohad Rein, Caroline Cowley (Caro Sparrow) Mukunda (on mrdanga) and friends as we launch the opening of the Animal Sanctuary Project, here at Divine Nature Sanctuary.

We’re creating an animal sanctuary with a difference, primarily for rescued calves from the dairy industry and other four-legged animals.

The evening will involve a short movie about this project, followed by an introduction and Q&A with Daniel Rawson, interspersed with Divine songs and kirtan.

A night of honouring the Divine within all things and especially rescued calves from the dairy industry, working towards positive action to help this plight, through this new crafty project!

A warm welcome to our long-time brother Edo Kahn from southern NSW. Edo is a devoted yogi and kirtan walla who has been sharing his chanting internationally for many years.

Ohad Rein is a talented musician and dedicated yogi, who has been sharing yoga and kirtan in the Byron Shire since rellocating from Israel last year. He has a wealth of musical and yogic experience that he shares tirelessly with our local community, spreading so much joy and love.

Mukunda on mridanga has beats and rhythms guaranteed to get one grooving.

Caroline Cowely (or Caro Sparrow her new stage name) will also bless us with her sweet and loving voice.

We are grateful to have these special souls join us for such a good-hearted gathering of music, joy and action towards postive change for our animal friends.

Doors open 6.30pm for 7pm start.

Suggested Donation – with full faith in Abundance, please give generously what you can. Proceeds will go towards setting up a shelter for the animals and the ongoing costs involved in rescuing, feeding and re-homing sacred cows, Gho Matas, with this exciting new project.

Please come and celebrate with family and friends this special occasion and Divine connection through song, music, community, gratitude, service and LOVE.

Kirtan is a call-and-response, chanting and singing practice to express our love, devotion and gratitude for the Divine Essence of Life. Feel free to chant along to the Divine names and songs in kirtan or simply sit, close the eyes and absorb the Divine energy.

The practice is an invitation to immerse yourself in a heart-opening group experience of music and singing. All are welcome, no experience is required 😀
